How do you relax around a hot girl. First, slow down. Slow down your movements, your reactions, and your speaking. Slow the fuck down! Trust me. Second, treat her like a person. Despite what you see in the media, she’s not an object. Putting her on a pedestal is preventing you from seeing her for what she really is. On any given day behind closed doors she is insecure, neurotic, or emotional. In other words, she’s a real person.

Why do girls force their blistered feet into high heels, put on expensive makeup (seriously.. that stuff is expensive!) and eat salad instead of a hamburger? Is being ‘attractive’ really that important. By my estimation, it seems like girls (in general) feel the need to be physically attractive.

Is looking your best a ‘sexiness contest’ with other women?

Do girls get dressed up to make the men look at them?

Maybe it just feels good to be sexy.

Is it cultural?.. little girls are told that they have to ‘look pretty’.

And finally, perhaps these beauty routines are how girls confirm their sexuality. Maybe the media and other social forces set girls up in a losing battle (a continuous cycle) of needing to be reminded that they are attractive. I hope this isn’t true. There should be other ways to feel good about yourself. Is this a bad thing? Who’s fault is all this?

Its tough in the beginning of a relationship. Everything you do (or don’t do) has the potential to blow things up. Every ‘serious’ incident could be it. In the early stages, you and your girl are testing the waters. Both of you are probably more prepared to walk away at a moments notice. You still remember your single life… and kind of want to go back.

But it gets easier. The longer the relationship goes on.. the more you’ve earned a free pass. So something (a fight at a bar) that could have easily caused a split in the beginning gets solved relatively quickly once you’ve been dating for a while. Assuming that the fuck up is an isolated incident. If you’ve been in the relationship for a while.. and you’ve handled yourself well for the most part.. you’ve earned a free pass.

Here’s the twist.. you can use the free pass to make a point or set a precedent. You now know that, while things might get nasty, its not going to end the relationship. Use your freebies wisely.. Have fun!

Everything you do at the start of a relationship sets a precedent. Most people ‘let things go’ in the early stages of a relationship because they are just so damn happy to be with that person. Force the issue on things that bother you. Don’t be afraid to start a fight early on. Its the best time to have a fight. Its the best time to set healthy precedents for the future.

Speak you mind and hold your girlfriend to a higher standard. At the same time however.. be prepared to do your part by listening and growing together. You don’t want to end up being the guy that complains about his nagging wife after 30 years of marriage. That guy failed to set positive precedents in the early stages of the relationship and now ‘habit’ runs the relationship. Relationship habits are VERY difficult to change.

Bring your voice into the relationship right away! Don’t be afraid of losing your girlfriend. Not challenging her will cause you trouble later in the relationship. Speak up and build a healthy level respect for each other.

Work the bar.. even though you're lazy

You’re going out to the bar.. but you’re tired and lazy. Of course you still want to meet girls. You have a choice. You can force yourself to get worked up into a high energy state and bounce around ‘hitting on girls’. Or you can work smart for the night. Its no fun trying to be high energy when you don’t feel like it. Grab your tired energy and go with the chill vibe.

Get there early (early depends on what country you’re in). Then.. meet people. Talk to girls, the bar tender, anybody. Pick out a few girls and have a cool relaxed conversation with them for a bit (not too long.. 5 - 10 minutes). Don’t try and get anything from these girls. No getting phone numbers! After a while.. take a break. Chill with a drink or some friends.

Later on in the night, the same girls you were making friends with earlier will most likely be getting hit on by the creepers that had to wait until they were drunk to talk to girls. You’re now an instant best friend. You’re the stable cool ‘option’ to all the drunk idiots. Keep on chillin, bring in a sexual vibe, and you’re golden. Lazy style.. minimum physical effort.
